Advanced Solutions Technical Institute - A.S.T.I

Advanced Solutions Technical Institute, formerly Advanced Solutions Institute, began when its Director noticed the acceleration of use of the Information Communication Technology eighteen (18) years ago. ASTI was conceptualized and realized with the intent of providing not only technological training and solutions to Trinidad and Tobago, but also to raise the overall standard and applicability of such at all levels of society. The Director and institution trusts in the talents of the people of Trinidad and Tobago and thus drives a local yet globally cognizant process approach to technological education complimented by a focus on sustainability.

ASTI officially commenced operations in 2001 with four (4) programmers. Now over 50 courses in telecommunications, Electrical and Electronic Technology, Hybrid and Electric Vehicle and Technology Diagnostics, Network Security, CCTV, Media and Design and Business are offered with dedicated support from twenty-five (25) staff members. The institute has experienced a 110% increase in student population, giving testament to the high level of respect afforded to our programs.

We have and continue to serve hundreds of students and organizations since inception such as the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (TSTT), Cable and Wireless (St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominican Electricity Services Company Limited, Antigua Public Utilities Authority, Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T & TEC), Ministry of Education (Tobago), National Gas Company (NGC), Digicel, K-Tel, Nath’s Communications, Trinidad and Tobago Coastguard, Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force.

ASTI’s team of administrators, trainers, educators and business consultants are experienced, knowledgeable and qualified. Each team members takes a genuine interest in providing the best service and environment to ensure student success.

ASTI is currently registered with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago. All courses offered are accredited with varying international bodies inclusive of but not limited to EduQual, Electronics Technicians Association (ETA) and Electronic Security Association (ESA).
